Hello wips of my recent image, it helped me lots to see WIps of other people, so I'm trying to help too other people. hope it helps.

i’m also open for commissions, send me a note via here or My deviantart.

Sketched in Corel, started coloring in it, but i decided to start all over again in Photoshop. i feel more comfortable there, and my comp too. Been some time since i did a dragon, and i totally needed it.

I just used a random dual brush with its dynamics on, splattered some colors, the basic idea was in my head, so i just followed orders XD.

The wings were probably the hardest thing to paint, but its what i like the most!

You can see how much the back changed, it tends to happen

I might still work on the image, but i consider it almost finished. so heres the tech stuff.

ANother update on the Anubis, image, i consider this almost done, only a few minor changes if requested.

I made it RGB, i was never told it would be for printing, so here it is.

This is the complete image, but since its for a cover it can be reframed depending on the needs.

OMG I've been sitting down for about 12 hours straight! OO its a long trip. Anyways a little update on the anubis picture I'm working on. I need to erase the dragonish style more, but this is still WIP

Hello everyone! I’ve been working so hard to get a diamond band saw and I’m so close now so that means I’m still open for commissions- I will continue to work this Christmas.

I’m just updating a little bit to show an image I'm working on. This is for someone on DeviantArt. Because it is an unfinished piece that I'm posting online i cropped it. But the real thing is complete and rolling.

This is a detail of his right eye, I'm still less then half.

Finally i decided to buy my domain, sadly the one i wanted (perromuerto) is already taken by a band D=. The first chance i get I'll buy it! i still need to buy the mx one. But not now, i need more money for that.

I’m not really sure how but its an honor to say that commissions for illustrations are becoming more fluently. like I'm having work every week. now that's awesome. I'm really grateful for that.

Right now i’m working with glass bottles, i’m making some clocks for AnisCompilado our art group, but with my work and school its a little slow. i’ll see if i can get a picture up this week.

I’ve been really inactive, but I'll try to change that for real now.

As of now I'm currently working on a project related to my hometown.

This is how i started, my computer pooped and the file ended up being a poorly jpeg like this

after a while i decided to work on the image a little bit. and This was the result.

Its probably one of the last stuff i’ll be uploading from that place. I’ll be doing lots of ilustration works from now on.

For our beloved Dia de los Muertos we had to do our traditional Catrina and Catrin. I constructed the basic structure, stated the style for the Catrin and bones. we only had aroun 10 days for those two to eb completed, plus another skull head, wich ended like the mask because of the color =/.

We started with our standard procedure, wich was lots of cardboard, and a few simple guidelines for th heads.

The body was very simple, we recycled some mannequin as our base structure, then we made the feet and hands of cardboard.

While constructing these we aslo gave some ideas on the Tzompantli they were organizing.

this is the structure for the Catrina’s dress. A big circle that connects to the skirt.

gah you can see the mess we had in our workspace. At the back we have our concept art, and Catrina’s Hat done by my partner.

   Well as of now i’m a full time ilustrator, an art teacher at home and part of a an artist group called Anis compilado. We are currently working on personal projects, but we have, believe it or not, the Papalote @ cuernavaca museum as this months client (last one was for Shrek ‘s red carpet, pictutes on the blogs url).

   We will be working with kids starting august 16 2010 till the 20. If you’re anywhere near Cuernavaca hop a visit!

“i know i’m only uploading works from the Museum, but that will change lemme assemble some stuff first i’m in the making of a small child story about a mexican leyend. will post some of it soon.”

These kid size letters were made of boxes, lots of glue with paper and acrylic paint. It was Huge proyect for the four of us, we would ‘ve finished it earlier if it were not for the kiddies that fought with them.

I would rather not do something like this again, 2 ABC’s and only 1 month to produce it.

We used to do everything with cardboard back in the old days of the museum, so we joked about a masters degree in the many uses of cardboard.

I am still working there, paying school with it. I have not been regular with the blog but i inted to change it.Need another space on the web besides DA, and the domain i wanted is already taken T.T .

Turning right when entering the museum you encounter with a big larva. There you’ll be able to enter its soft stomach.

Inside you meet little larva eggs to play with. After playing and bouncing all over the place kids go out poopy stile, its a slide at the end of the tunnel.

This are made of big plastic balls, and painted over using permanent markers.

I’m only posting some of the ones i did.

I am currently working at the Museo Papalote Cuernavaca. Its been over a year since i began working there.

“Chinese Dragon”

This is a bull/dragon for the Chinese year of 2009. the project was done in 3 weeks. it danced for over two months. I designed, constructed and painted both parts by my own, as seen on the picture. When it began to dance and kids started to play with it the whole team was called to repair it. In the end the dragon changed alot.

The head’s made out of some paper mache, wood sticks for the horns, a big big box as a body structure, and acrylic paint on the top. It took almost the three weeks to complete.

Its size is around 1 meter wide (without horns, each one was around 50-70 cm long) x 1.70 long.

The body changed between acts, the basic structure was Hula Hoops, plastic and lots of crepe paper. Almost three meters long.

I had alot of thinking before i started it. it took two days to complete.

in the End i couldn’t took a picture of how it ended. it looked so different.

These were Limited prints over arches 180grs each signed at the front, and sometimes with a thought written .

All of them sent over the mail to their respective owners. Thanks all who participated =P. And with this I hope to encourage the trade between artists.
